The BetterBodies Motorsport Porsche 911 997.1 Lip + Ducktail Kit is designed for OEM-style fitment, ensuring both components align perfectly with the 2005–2008 997.1 generation factory body lines. Each part features pre-marked mounting points for accurate placement. The front lip includes pre-installed 3M automotive-grade double-sided tape along with mounting hardware for a secure fit, while the ducktail spoiler integrates cleanly with the factory rear deck lid mounting points. All polyurethane parts require standard body shop prep (scuff, prime, paint) if you plan to color match them to your Porsche. While experienced DIY installers can complete the process, professional installation is recommended to achieve the best alignment and finish. Appearance
This two-piece aero package brings a balanced yet aggressive look to the Porsche 997.1. What is Polyurethane?
Both parts are manufactured from our proprietary GT3TEK polyurethane blend, delivering exceptional durability and flexibility. Unlike fiberglass or ABS plastic, polyurethane can flex under stress and return to its original form, making it highly resistant to cracks, chips, and breakage. This flexibility also makes installation easier by allowing for fine adjustments to achieve OEM-level fitment.

Performance Capabilities
In addition to visual enhancements, this kit offers subtle aerodynamic benefits. The front lip helps manage airflow beneath the car to reduce lift, while the ducktail spoiler manages airflow over the rear deck lid, adding mild downforce and improving stability at higher speeds. Will it Crack or Break?
ABSOLUTELY NOT - Polyurethane is highly impact-resistant and built to handle real-world driving conditions. It can flex when encountering road debris, curbs, or steep driveways, then return to its original shape without structural damage. Most impacts leave only cosmetic marks, which can be refinished if desired. Scrape guards for the front lip are recommended for added protection in high-contact areas.
