The BetterBodies Motorsport Porsche 911 996 GT3 Style Lower Spoiler Lip Add-On is built for an OEM-style fit, ensuring a straightforward installation process. Pre-marked mounting points and included hardware make alignment simple, with pre-installed 3M automotive-grade double-sided tape and mounting screws for a secure attachment. Arrives in black polyurethane and will require standard body shop prep (scuff, prime, paint) if you want to color match to your Porsche. Many enthusiasts can install this at home in 1–2 hours, but professional installation is recommended for best results, especially if painting. If the part is in stock, it will ship within 24–48 hours. In the rare case it’s on backorder, please allow 3–8 business days for dispatch.

Appearance
Inspired by the iconic GT3 style, this spoiler lip gives the 996 Carrera a lower, more aggressive front-end profile. The design enhances stance, makes the front end appear wider, and delivers a motorsport-ready look while still blending seamlessly with the car’s factory lines. Out of the box, it arrives in black polyurethane—perfect for either a paint-matched finish or a high-contrast black accent. It pairs perfectly with side rockers, rear diffusers, and wings for a cohesive aero kit.

What is Polyurethane?
Our proprietary GT3TEK polyurethane blend is exclusive to BetterBodies Motorsport. Unlike fiberglass or ABS plastic, it flexes under pressure and returns to its original shape, making it highly resistant to cracks, chips, and shattering. This flexibility allows for easier alignment during installation while delivering long-term durability. It’s the ideal material for real-world driving, where road debris and minor impacts are a reality.

Performance Capabilities
While the primary purpose of this GT3-style lip is to enhance appearance, it also offers subtle aerodynamic benefits. Its shape helps channel airflow more efficiently, reducing lift at the front end and contributing to improved stability at higher speeds. Will it Crack or Break?
ABSOLUTELY NOT, polyurethane is known for its exceptional durability and impact resistance. Unlike brittle materials that shatter on contact, this lip flexes when it encounters curbs, steep driveways, or road debris, then returns to its original shape. Severe impacts may leave scuffs, but full replacement is rarely necessary. For added protection, scrape guards can be installed.
