How Easy is it to Install?
The BetterBodies Motorsport Porsche 911 997.2 Lip + Diffuser Kit is built for OEM-style fitment, with both components molded to match the exact factory body lines of the 2009–2012 997.2 generation. Each piece comes with pre-marked mounting points for accurate alignment. The front lip includes pre-installed 3M automotive-grade double-sided tape and mounting hardware for a secure fit, while the rear diffuser is designed to integrate directly with the factory mounting locations. All polyurethane components require standard body shop prep (scuff, prime, paint) if you plan to color match them to your Porsche. While confident DIY installers can complete the process, we recommend professional installation to ensure perfect fitment and finish. If the kit is in stock, it ships within 24–48 hours; if on backorder, please allow 3–8 business days for dispatch.

Appearance
This two-piece kit provides an instant front-and-rear visual upgrade to the Porsche 997.2. What is Polyurethane?
Both components are made from our proprietary GT3TEK polyurethane blend, which offers exceptional flexibility and durability. Unlike fiberglass or ABS plastic, polyurethane can flex under stress and return to its original shape, making it highly resistant to cracking, chipping, or breaking. This flexibility also allows for easier adjustments during installation, ensuring OEM-level fitment.

Performance Capabilities
In addition to their visual appeal, these parts provide subtle aerodynamic benefits. The front lip helps reduce front-end lift by improving airflow beneath the car, while the diffuser improves rear airflow separation for greater stability at speed. Will it Crack or Break?
ABSOLUTELY NOT - Polyurethane is highly impact-resistant, flexing when it encounters road debris, curbs, or steep driveways, and then returning to its original form. Most impacts leave only minor cosmetic marks, which can be refinished if desired. Scrape guards for the front lip are recommended for added protection in high-contact areas.
