The BetterBodies Motorsport Porsche 911 997.1 Lip + Small Wing Kit is engineered for OEM-style fitment, ensuring both components align perfectly with the 2005–2008 997.1 generation factory body lines. Each part is molded with pre-marked mounting points for precise positioning. The front lip comes with pre-installed 3M automotive-grade double-sided tape and mounting hardware for a secure attachment, while the small wing is designed to integrate cleanly with the factory rear deck lid mounting points. All polyurethane components require standard body shop prep (scuff, prime, paint) if you want to color match them to your Porsche. Skilled DIY installers can complete the process, but we recommend professional installation for the best alignment and finish. What is Polyurethane?
Made from our proprietary GT3TEK polyurethane blend, both components offer superior flexibility and durability. Unlike fiberglass or ABS plastic, polyurethane can flex under pressure and return to its original form, making it highly resistant to cracking, chipping, or breaking. This flexibility not only improves long-term resilience but also allows for fine-tuning during installation for an OEM-quality fit.

Performance Capabilities
While primarily a visual upgrade, the aerodynamic design of the front lip helps reduce lift at higher speeds by improving airflow under the car. The small wing assists in managing airflow over the rear deck lid, offering a slight improvement in high-speed stability. Combined, these elements provide a more planted and balanced feel during spirited driving without adding excessive drag.

Will it Crack or Break?
ABSOLUTELY NOT - Polyurethane is designed for exceptional impact resistance. It can flex when making contact with steep driveways, curbs, or road debris, then return to its original shape without structural damage. Most impacts leave only minor cosmetic marks, which can be refinished if desired. Adding scrape guards to the front lip is recommended for extra protection.
