The small ducktail spoiler mounts cleanly to the factory rear deck lid, with no need for extensive modification. All polyurethane components will require standard body shop prep (scuff, prime, paint) if you want to color match to your Porsche. While confident DIY installers can complete the job in a few hours, we recommend professional installation for optimal alignment and finish—especially when painting. Performance Capabilities
While primarily a visual upgrade, the aerodynamic shapes of the front lip and small ducktail can contribute to better high-speed stability. The front lip reduces lift by improving airflow beneath the car, while the ducktail spoiler helps manage airflow over the rear deck lid. Will it Crack or Break?
ABSOLUTELY NOT - Our polyurethane construction is designed to withstand the demands of everyday driving. It’s highly resistant to cracking from minor impacts such as steep driveway entries or road debris, flexing on contact and returning to shape. In most cases, any marks from contact are cosmetic and can be refinished if desired. Adding scrape guards to the front lip can provide even more protection.
