The BetterBodies Motorsport Porsche 911 996.2 Lip + Ducktail Kit is designed for OEM-style fitment, ensuring both components integrate seamlessly with the factory body lines of the 2002–2004 996.2 generation. Each part is molded with pre-marked mounting points for accurate placement. The front lip includes pre-installed 3M automotive-grade double-sided tape and mounting hardware for a secure installation, while the ducktail spoiler is designed to mount directly to the factory rear deck lid using existing attachment points. All polyurethane components require standard body shop prep (scuff, prime, paint) if you want to color match to your Porsche. While experienced DIY enthusiasts can install this kit, we recommend professional installation for optimal alignment and finish. Appearance
This two-piece aero upgrade gives the Porsche 996.2 a sharper, more motorsport-inspired presence. The front lip lowers and defines the front end, giving it a more aggressive stance, while the ducktail spoiler enhances the rear with a classic racing influence. What is Polyurethane?
Both components are crafted from our proprietary GT3TEK polyurethane blend, offering exceptional durability and flexibility. Unlike fiberglass or ABS plastic, polyurethane can flex under stress and return to its original form, making it highly resistant to cracking, chipping, or breaking. This flexibility also allows for easier adjustments during installation, ensuring an OEM-level fitment.

Performance Capabilities
Beyond their visual appeal, these components deliver subtle aerodynamic benefits. The front lip improves airflow under the car to help reduce lift at higher speeds, while the ducktail spoiler manages airflow over the rear deck lid, adding mild downforce and improving stability. Will it Crack or Break?
ABSOLUTELY NOT - Polyurethane construction makes these parts highly resistant to real-world driving hazards. They can flex when encountering curbs, steep driveways, or road debris, returning to their original shape without structural damage. Most impacts leave only minor cosmetic marks that can be refinished if desired. Scrape guards for the front lip are recommended for additional protection in high-contact areas.
