Upgrading the look and aerodynamics of your Porsche is one of the most rewarding modifications you can make - and one of the most confusing to shop for. This guide breaks down every major aero part, the materials we use, and how to choose the right setup for your chassis, whether you drive a classic air-cooled 911 or a modern 991.
The core aero parts explained
Front lips & splitters mount to the lower front bumper to sharpen the nose, reduce front-end lift, and add an aggressive stance. Ducktail spoilers & rear wings sit on the engine/deck lid to add rear downforce and that unmistakable motorsport silhouette. Side skirts & rocker panels lower the visual stance and tidy airflow down the flanks. Rear diffusers clean up underbody airflow exiting the rear for added high-speed stability, while front and rear bumper conversions completely transform the car's character.
Polyurethane vs. fiberglass
Most of our parts are offered in flexible, crack-resistant polyurethane (including our proprietary GT3TEK blend) or hand-laid fiberglass. Polyurethane flexes over curbs and debris and returns to shape, making it ideal for daily-driven cars and low-mounted parts. Fiberglass holds sharper, more detailed lines and is favored for show builds and large conversion panels, but it is rigid and benefits from professional body-shop installation. We cover the full trade-off in our dedicated polyurethane vs. fiberglass guide.
Shop by your Porsche
Each chassis has its own dedicated collection with model-specific fitment:
- Porsche 993 (1995-1998) - the last air-cooled 911. Euro RS front bumpers, RS splitters, TK side rockers and rear wings.
- Porsche 996 (1999-2004) - front lips, ducktails, GT3-style rockers, rear diffusers and 997-look rear bumper conversions.
- Porsche 997 (2005-2012) - GT3 & GT3TEK front lips, Mach II side skirts, ducktail wings and RUF-style diffusers.
- Porsche 991 (2012-2016) - Euro GT chin spoilers, side rockers and rear diffusers for Carrera and Turbo.
Building a complete look
Individual parts look great, but a balanced front-to-rear package looks best and performs better. A front lip paired with a rear diffuser balances airflow; add side skirts to tie the profile together. To make this easy (and save money), we offer pre-matched aero kits and bundles for most chassis - front lip, side rockers, diffuser and ducktail combinations designed to fit together.
Fitment tips before you buy
Always confirm your exact model, year, and body style. Narrow-body and wide-body cars differ, and facelift generations (like the 996.1 vs 996.2 or 997.1 vs 997.2) use different bumpers. GT3, GT2, and Turbo models often require different parts than base Carrera models. When in doubt, check the fitment line on each product page or reach out before ordering.
